Customer Street and UFindUs Web Design

As a new feature I have introduced a new home page for the Customer Street Design blog.

I have done this for several reasons.

• To give out a set message rather than a forever changing page full of design articles
• So that the text can be more easily customized for search engine rankings
• To have a slightly different home page to the other blogs

If it works well and our targetted phrases achieve higher rankings then I will probably apply a similar concept to all the Customer Street Blogs.

I will add more updates as they arise.

Accoring to Hitwise, UFindUs received more traffic than Yahoo’s UK Directory in the fourth quarter of 2007.

I knew UFindUs was powerful and getting bigger by the day but I was not aware that it was big enough to be out hitting Yahoo’s directory.

Google Maps / Local were obvioulsy ranked number 1 by Hitwise and we also saw some very suprising websites in their top 10.

We are very proud that UFindUs is being widely recognised to be in the top 10 of all UK Business Directories.

It’s purpose is to report on the different trade directories that we have and to keep you updated on the developments they are making. Both design wise and rankings wise on the major search engines.
